so i ordered mom's super secret birthday present yesterday, it's a secret because i changed my mind about which sculpt to get her. xD i'm thinking it'll be a while before it's all done, but she should be ready to be given to mom some time between Robyn's birthday and mine. xD that's a vague time frame, i know, but there's gonna be a LOT of work going into this thing. i'm doing all the blushing and seam sanding needed, and i'll be doing the faceup and making her some clothes in siren red, because really, anything mom has needs to be absolutely vibrantly red. i totally have a pic of the eyes i picked out for her too. mom's only requests were a happy looking face and a vague resemblance to one of us girls. hence the brown eyes, since Roro is the only one of us without them.
also, doll photos! today i taught Kyu to do body blushing and faceups. this is all the detail work he did. we have his very first faceup, scarring on her neck and collarbone, some body contouring in a deadened grey, and a little "dirt" between the toes (though it got washed out in these photos). i'm so proud of how he did!
and one of her dressed again too. xD
i think she looks appropriately dead and dirty.
scarbie pics tomorrow maybe. i'll try to get them all up, but photobucket is so slow.. i hate waiting for it.
