it's game day again, and i'm pretty much ready to go. this week i actually won't be taking my Pokedex Challenge though, last night i started working on painting the details on my plastic Monster High/Ever After High accessories. i got a lot done and i'm just gonna carry momentum with that forward today as much as i can.
i'm not abandoning the Pokedex Challenge, but i've reached a point where it's not really fitting in the notebook i have for it, so i need to pause until i can get a bigger one. honestly, i'm surprised the almost-400 i've done already fit as well as they do. any more and the thing just won't close, so something else is definitely in order to fill my time until i can up-size notebooks.
also, i managed to smash my ankle (the weak one) last night going to bed. it's starting to show a greyish purple-blue bruise today, so i think i'm gonna wrap it in a bandage and aim to sit as much as possible today. painting is a good sit-all-day activity, i just need to make sure i pack everything i could possibly need in my bag. i'm starting to hear general morning noises from upstairs, so it's about time to post this and double check my stuff. Kyu's never taken long to be ready to go after the getting out of bed part. xD

this week was pretty good. i played a lot of Pokemon, which is always fun. mom and i got another chunk sorted out in her kitchen, once again we had to stop because we ran out of space to throw things out. xD
today should be a low-key game day. i have my Pokedex challenge things packed up and ready to go, so ideally i'll manage to get another chunk done continuing my impressive momentum on it this month.
this week was pretty boring, i guess, but i enjoyed it. even though more is going on this week, i have hopes it'll be as good overall. i've been aiming for a pleasant middle ground when it comes to balancing productivity and my mental health.

i forgot to post yesterday. oops. xD it was a productive day, overall. many games were played, and i got another 28 drawings done for my Pokedex challenge. there's a chance i may set up an art station and work on more of them today, but i don't know yet.
really most of this week has been spent on various Pokemon-related projects. i spent several hours trading back and forth with Rory to help him reach goals, then another hour off and on breeding and trading the results to him. i spent another large chunk of time transferring inventories from X and Y to Omega Ruby so i could replay the former without losing useful things. i also spent time all along gathering flags and farming berries for in-game side quests, so having an arty day with few button presses sounds nice, especially since i'm still really enjoying the project overall. i just haven't decided yet if i'm up for disrupting everyone else's potential anything in the living room tonight.

so i slept in a little bit, didn't have time to post before we headed up for game day.
so last week and today i picked back up on progress with the Pokedex challenge. last week i got 40 done, and today another 23, putting me at a solid 263 complete out of the total 719. i'm super pleased overall and i hope the productivity continues.
really i got through all of Parks and Rec while i was doing sewing stuff, and now i think i may pick back up where i left off on Psych while i work though other things. i thought i'd finished season 4 when i was binge watching, but it turns out i didn't, i just started it then, so now i'm like 5 or 6 episodes in. i'm sure i'll push my way through more this week, it'll make good background while i paint or whatever.
