lost track of time again, not realizing i missed Sunday until like, now. oops. last week was good, i had my monthly lunch with James on Thursday, spent some time With Jenni on Friday before catching a ride with her to Kelton's birthday dinner, then Saturday mom picked me up for Jenni's party. that's way more leaving the apartment than i generally do, but mild allergic reaction aside it was all fun.
it's been two weeks since i heard from Moose about anything at all, much less visiting dad again. i have some paintings to finish before the next time we do, but overall i'm not surprised that her "i can pick you up once a week and we can visit dad!" enthusiasm lasted all of a week. i guess i'll just poke at her when my paintings are done and get her to drag me along.
ugh. the ac has been broken in our apartment complex for nearly a week now. on the one hand, this has been a mild summer so we're not like melting alive, but on the other hand, it's still july in Texas and pretty obnoxiously humid. i've kept the thing running just to keep the air dryish, sweaty swampy apartment is something i do my best to avoid, ya know?
