so yesterday was the musical performance for Bonnie's ward we prepped for, and it went well (especially for only like 3 practices) so yay us! there wasn't really anything else noteworthy that happened this week. i puttered on my personal projects, but nothing is really finished.
i'm ramping up in preparation for Free Comic Book Day, since i'll be drawing for tips again this year. the weekend after that should be my second Scarbie trip of the season, which i'm looking forward to, and trying to see if i can pull together a second costume in time for. i have the idea mostly ironed out, i just need to see if i can tweak the pattern pieces and sew it from things i already have on-hand by then. i'm hoping so. i don't mind borrowing some parts for the maiden voyage, but overall i'd like it to be easily repeatable, and that means owning it myself.
