so no progress has been made regarding my FF9 game, but i have made strides on the DQ Cosplay Compendium, and this weekend Kyu and i have been watching Daredevil. not the awful movie, but the netflix original series, which is AMAZINGLY good, but also really graphically violent, so i don't recommend it to pretty much anyone that wouldn't want to watch it already (i'm looking at you mom, i like it, but you won't at all).

i did make it up to Wild West to confirm that yes, i'm drawing there on FCBD, but also that i'll be there late since quilt class is that morning. i was pleased and a little flattered that even without asking if i could draw they'd stuck me on the list and reserved a seat. i think of myself as an artist, but i don't often think other people think of me that way. sometimes it's nice to be wrong.

basically i've got a few weeks to get back in the hang of drawing, and to check that my markers are in working order. maybe to buy replacements for the ones i noticed had died when i drew back at Halloween. i'm looking forward to it overall though, it should be fun.
