it's been a good long weekend here with mom. respectable productivity, lots of laughing, though there have been some moderately annoying computer hiccups, they're dealt with now and all is well.
i took Friday to update various programs that fell out of date while mom's computer was in storage, and i also worked on painting more plastic doll pieces, i got the entirety of Spring Unsprung Cedar done and ready for display when i get home again.
Saturday was a return to working on the house itself, some organizational efforts, but mostly shuffling between painting projects letting one dry while another was worked on. it's mostly smaller projects, but things are really coming together now. i also got my laundry done during all that shuffling, so really a great day overall.
i'm starting to think ahead more to FCBD, it's next weekend so i should definitely be preparing for it this week. mostly i think i just need to sketch and be sure my 3DS is charged so i can have my rotatable Pokedex (my Omega Ruby file is complete) on hand for reference. i may take Kyu's 3DS fully charged as a backup too, just to be sure i'm ready for anything. i know last year FCBD was packed enough that i'm unlikely to have a free half hour to charge it if it runs low during the day, which happened when i drew last Halloween. i suppose i should make sure my phone is fully charged too, in case i need to look up non-Pokemon reference.
