so both my F2bM order and my tax refund got here today. yay! i went to the bank and deposited it first thing, but since only half the money has hit my account, i don't have my new computer yet, just the desk for it. xD i can understand wanting to wait to verify that a check for $850 is legit though. xD the walmart i went to was sold out of the computer i wanted anyways, so i'll just order it online in a few days and have it shipped to the store so i don't have to take on ridiculous shipping costs.
the clothes in the F2bM order are so amazingly cute! they also look slightly bigger than the stuff from my order last year.. i'll try them all on the kids and take photos later. i'll also take photos after i assemble the computer desk, for now it's dinner and posting. i'm trying to do better than once a month or every two months..
i'm also trying to eat better, but honestly that's mostly kyu's idea. xD i like food, of all kinds, but he thinks we could both stand to get back in shape, so we're cutting soda out of our diets entirely. that's fine with me as i don't drink much soda anyways, but what i have to try harder to give up is junk food. i'm pretty bad when it comes to candy.. i keep twizzlers in my desk at work to keep me from heading over to the doughnut shop next door, so they're still allowed. i just have to cut out all the impulse buys.. i'm really prone to picking up a pint of ice cream, or a bag or two of m&ms whenever the whim hits me, and that adds up after a while. even today i impulse-bought three boxes of girl scout cookies and a 50% off 24-pack of godiva chocolate.. they'll probably last throughout the next month, but it's still a weakness of mine. i also impulse-bought mom a fuzzy sheep-shaped pez dispenser. xD it'sreally cute.
that's all i guess. i'll post again when i've taken the photos.

Solution to the "bank sitting on tax refund" dilemma? Next year, file electronically and choose to have your refund deposited in your bank. Ergo, instant spending capability. The bank takes a small amount to handle that, basically the equivalent of a funds-wiring fee but nothing egregious.
You have got to come see the sweater books I bought yesterday. There's a ren-wench sweater in one of them that I think you'll like as much as I do.

well i tried to come over and give you said fuzzy sheep pez dispenser, but you weren't home. xD and we did e-file and try for direct deposit, but kyu put the routing number in the fields for routing number and account number, so there were acrobatics involved in retrieving said money. next year i'll totally direct deposit it correctly.
